MARIN PEACE AND JUSTICE COALITION: COMMITTEES

GENERAL COMMITTEES
Committees concerned with maintaining the coalition and furthering its educational and organizing work.

Communication
Responsible for the MPJC web site, email, phone tree, publicity and outreach efforts. Contact: Barbara Bogard (415) 381-8085.

Current Actions
Responsible for organizing marches, rallies, leafletting, vigils, and demonstrations. Contact: Zhenya Spake (415) 381-9085.

Films and Forums
Responsible for organizing public educational forums: panel discussions, teach-ins and lectures. Contact: Marge Piaggio (415) 459-3448

Tabling and Literature
Responsible for writing, preparing and distributing leaflets, and tabling at MPJC and other events. Contact: Roger Stoll (415) 454-1750.

Culture
Responsible for integrating and organizing musical, artistic and dramatic activites of the MPJC. Contact: see films and forums

Youth
Provides information and guidance to high school and college students about their rights and options regarding military recruitment and peace activism. Contact Denise Beck (415) 924-2347.
